Really Live Music presents

Following last year’s stunning début, Margate Rock & Blues returns to the Winter Gardens in Margate for another spectacular day of Rock & Blues Music on Saturday June 18th.

Running Order (subject to alteration)

15:30- Doors open: Wendy May’s Locomotion (DJ) playing great music all day
15:45- Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack
17:10- The Urban Voodoo Machine
18:35- The Slambovian Circus of Dreams
20:15- Buzzcocks
22:00- Stone Foundation

Headlining are BUZZCOCKS, one of the most important and influential bands ever (‘What Do I Get?’, ‘Harmony In My Head’, ‘Orgasm Addict’, and of course, the song that became their calling card, ‘Ever Fallen In Love With Someone (You Shouldn’t’ve Fallen In Love With?’), who celebrate their 40th Anniversary in 2016.

Joining them will be veteran Blues guitar hero, STAN WEBB’S CHICKEN SHACK (‘I’d Rather Go Blind’), with bourbon-soaked Gypsy Blues Bop’n’Stroll from London’s 11-piece THE URBAN VOODOO MACHINE.

Special guests, THE SLAMBOVIAN CIRCUS OF DREAMS, fly over from Sleepy Hollow, New York State, to play a week of festivals, including Linton, Glastonbury, and Margate. Their music has sometimes been described as “Hillbilly Pink Floyd”, which hardly does them justice.

Popular Midlands-based eight-piece band, STONE FOUNDATION will close the show. Their electric live energy has placed them in front of larger and larger audiences and won them the adoration of The Specials, the band they’ve toured the World with.

All acts will play full sets. Real ales and food will be available.
