“SING AS WE GO” is the Fabulous Forties Theme Show, presented by Gordon Clarkson and Company of versatile performers and musicians.
It re-creates a typical “E.N.S.A” concert : packed with Song and Comedy, Music and Memories.
It pays sincere tribute to the dedicated performers who ‘did their bit’ by keeping Britain’s Forces and Munition’s workers Singing and Laughing throughout those dark years.
It’s Comedy and Music all the way through from the “Moonlight becomes you” Opening, to the patriotic flag waving finale culminating, of course, with “There’ll Always be and England”, and “Land of Hope and Glory”. In between, you will hear all your favourite melodies such as “A Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square”, “As time goes by”, “Yours”, “The White Cliffs of Dover”, and many more.
Workers Playtime and the Ovalteenies recall the golden days of Radio, and with over 50 favourite songs this is an afternoon not to miss.
