Really Live Music presents
Margate Rock & Blues Festival 2015
The very first all-day Margate Rock & Blues Festival arrives at the Winter Gardens on Saturday 19 September, bringing a stellar cast of British musical legends to Kent.
Wilko Johnson, collaborator with The Who’s Roger Daltry and founding guitarist of Dr Feelgood, headlines a packed show that includes 60s icons, The Pretty Things, celebrating 50 years as a touring band.
They’ve lost none of the raw edge that made them rivals to The Beatles and The Stones, and still feature original members, Phil May and Dick Taylor – the first Rolling Stones guitarist. Also featuring Henri Herbert (ex-Jim Jones Revue), Babajack, and the Congo Faith Healers, featuring Sonny West. Finishing the line-up is Wendy May’s Locomotion.
All acts will play full sets. Real ales and food will be available.
