The Fabulous Forties Show

"SING AS WE GO" is the Fabulous Forties Nostalgia Celebration! It is packed with all your favourite songs of the 1940's, and pays tribute to the performers of "ENSA" who entertained troops and munitions factory workers during the dark days of World War Two.
They lived and worked in as bad ( and sometimes worse) conditions than those who made up their audiences, displaying that famous "British Spirit".

We celebrate this spirit throughout our show in Song, Dance and Comedy, and have assembled a talented company to entertain you all the way from the "Moonlight becomes you" Opening, through to the first half finale in a tribute to the forces featuring, among other songs, the spine tingling "Coming in on a wing and a prayer" and "The White Cliffs of Dover". Classic comedy and favourite melodies such as "A Nightinglae Sang" follow in Act 2, right up to the patriotic flag-waving grand finale culminating in "There'll Always be and England", and of course, "Land of Hope and Glory". The talented cast comprises of Gordon Clarkson, Moira Pearn, Chris Porteous, Stacy Young, Derek Tobias, and Rocio Day with live musical support throughout from The Max Rennie Duo.
