Your wedding day is extra special and that is why we like to sit down with you and your close family to discuss all your needs.  This means we can ensure everything is perfect on the day.  If you would like a copy of our full wedding package please use our contact details on this website.  It will arrive in a few days time.

Both before and on the day our well trained management and staff will be available to ensure that every detail goes to plan, so that you and your guests can relax and enjoy yourselves.

Our prices include: Hire of the hall for the Wedding Reception and Wedding Breakfast until 7.00pm providing there are at least 100 guests for a sit down meal.  There may be an additional charge for the evening if you are also having an evening party.  The package includes:  50% discount for all children under 8 years old or their own menu; full bar facilities; free cake stand and knife; our experienced staff to guide you through the day.

How to make a booking?

1. Contact us to make an appointment with one of our senior managers to look round the venue you have chosen.
2. Discuss all your requirements and make sure you are happy with everything.  If you would like to see alternative venues then we can arrange a tour round.
3. When you decide on the Winter Gardens for your wedding day we ask that you send us a written confirmation of your booking along with a 50% deposit.
4. We will ask you to sign a Booking Form so the date can be held for you.  We should point out that in the event of cancellation your deposit is non-refundable unless we can re-sell the date.
5. Confirmation of numbers is required two weeks before the date with final numbers.  This will be the minimum number charged as we will need to order in all the food by this date.  It is very helpful to our planning that the table plan is delivered four days prior to the big day.
6. Full payment of the invoice is required within seven days of the invoice arriving.  Should the invoice be unpaid for more than one month we may have to charge interest at 2% per month.
7. There are no hidden extras as all prices include VAT and there is no service charge.
8. Due to the current Food Acts we regret that food may not be brought onto the premises without prior agreement.

Format of the Reception

The following is a tried and trusted format you may like to consider for your Wedding Reception.

• Allow about 1hr 45mins for the Church service and photographs - about 25 minutes less for a Register Office Ceremony.
• Arrive at the venue to welcome your guests - usually both sets of parents with the bride and groom.
• Offer welcome drinks and finish the last photographs.
• Serve the delicious wedding breakfast you have chosen.
• The cutting of the cake takes place after the sweet has been cleared, the champagne is then served and this is followed by the speeches.
• Coffee and cake are served - now you can relax and let your hair down!
