The Queens Hall is the most popular function suite in the area, catering comfortably for numbers of 100-350 persons. It was originally called the "Sun Lounge," and the Queens Hall as we know it today was built in 1965.
It is adjacent to the Main Hall and comprises the second largest hall in the Winter Gardens complex. The Queens Hall can be used for any type of function including theatre presentations, cabaret style shows, variety shows, fashion shows, exhibitions, dinners, dances and banquets.
The Queens Hall has a large balcony at the rear of the hall, which runs almost the entire width of the room. There is an excellent stage, P.A., lighting and spotlighting facilities and it houses six good sized dressing rooms. A BT telephone line is available for hire and is situated backstage.
More details of the Queens Hall are shown on the Facilities Rooms page. To go there please click here.
